Cedar

Cedar was born without vision in his left eye, but he doesn’t seem to know that. You must look close to notice that his left eye is a little different from his right. We have been to an ophthalmologist and have a report from them. In short, both eyes are healthy and his right eye has full vision.

During his 1 1/2 hour eye exam, Cedar had paper strips, eye drops, and pressure tests done. He was examined by 3 doctors and 3 students at the Purdue University teaching hospital. The staff was amazed at “what a good boy” he was while they repeatedly opened his eyelids to examine his eyes thoroughly. Cedar gets an A+ for his calmness and patience! He never made a sound, but just stood or sat for the whole time without even squirming.
