Stillwaters Gunnar

Gunnar, has rounded out Flicka’s quick movements so well! He is our thoughtful companion dog. He is nearly always at our side when we step out of the house, whether it be day or night! Not that wet-nose-in-the-hand sort of way, but he likes to accompany us wherever we go.

He knows just how far the goats can come up before he will put them back in their place and he is the chickens’ best babysitter!  If one gets out, he will usually wait around for us to show up, then gently pin it down for us to put back in the pen.  I can only imagine the amount of work these two have saved us on our small farm.  At the end of the day, they want to be with us.  They are up for a hike in the woods, a walk down the road or just to lay down on the porch while we watch the sun go down!
