Life at Stillwaters' Heritage Farm is all about family!  We still have a houseful of children at home to  socialize and play with our puppies. Most of the photos you will see are taken by one of the children who loves the chance to use the camera.

I didn't grow up a lover of all dogs.  I liked our own family dog, which happened to be a farm collie, that my dad brought home.  But as a grade schooler going door-to-door for school fundraisers, I quickly learned that it was important to at least pretend that I liked their pet.  That all changed when I brought home our first Old Time Scotch Collie....

In upcoming posts, I will share unique characteristics of the Old Time Scotch Collie, interesting facts about why Scotch Collies almost went extinct, tips on how I work with my puppies, and random things that happen on the farm!
