Here are just a few things that you can expect during the care and training of your puppy.
First, the puppies are allowed to nurse until they go to their new home. This ensures that they receive all the natural antibodies they can from their mothers milk to build a strong and healthy immune system.
Secondly, we will begin Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) beginning on day 3. Then we introduce elements of Puppy Culture Training. With introductions to our farm animals and lots of interaction with family and friends, each puppy will be well socialized and ready to adapt to their new home!
Next, we will have a trip to the veterinarian where your puppy will receive their wellness checkup and vaccinations.
All our puppies will have their puppy registration completed with the Old Time Scotch Collie Association (OTSCA). We encourage you to complete their full adult registration after one year old. Their registration certificate will be in your information packet that goes home with your puppy along with a gallon bag of puppy food and vet information.
I spend a lot of time just watching the puppies, taking notes of how each of them interact with each other, with people, and their surroundings so that I can give you my best assessment of their individual personalities and traits. It is my goal that your puppy will exceed your expectations!
